LANDSCAPE ART The transition from Winter to Spring can be easy if you use art pieces to reflect the spring season. Flowers, trees, blue skies, green pasture is what I look for in an art pieces. These are vintage art prints that I love and look beautiful in my dining room. It is a beautiful way to decorate your walls. I will link them below.
PLANTS, PLANTS, PLANTS I love plants, the more the better. The buds are not quiet popping outside yet, but you can definitely make spring happen inside. If you prefer faux plants then go for it, as long as you give your home some green foliage, you’ll feel spring has arrived. But if you want to give real plants a try, these are my five easy house plants to care blog post, perfect for a beginner plant lady.
SWAP OUT PILLOWS AND THROWS Shop your own home, these pillows I had all winter and I think they look perfect for spring too, And guess what? the greenish throw blanket on the chair is actually a table runner that I had since last year. Nobody is going to know, as long as it looks pretty, you are happy and goes together with your pillows, you can create your own style and be content with it, no need to be shopping for more pillows/throws every single season, unless you want to of course.
BASKETS I love baskets, its a great way to gather and store fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and also as a container for faux or real plants. Baskets add more texture, character to your space and it compliments the spring look beautifully.
CANDLES you read that right, candles add that flowery spring smell you desperately need in you home after a long winter, perfect to transition from winter to spring. Depending on the scent, you want your house to smell fresh and welcoming, I personally buy handmade clean, soy natural, long burning candles from my local market.
Another thing you can add are FRESH FLOWERS, tulips are in season and are the perfect addition to your spring home decor, I hope you were encouraged by this blog post, enjoy this season, and don’t forget to subscribe to my blog for more ideas. Happy Spring!
